This extensive home remodel breathed new life into a classic acreage residence, originally constructed more than three decades ago.

The homeowners' vision was to seamlessly integrate a pool atrium and garage, harmonizing with the existing fit and finishes. The exterior transformation was nothing short of spectacular, with cultured stone detailing gracing both the front face and the rear of the addition. The entire home received a roof overhaul, including the replacement of existing shingles with durable rubber tile shingles. Where stone wasn't used, acrylic stucco was thoughtfully added to match the home's original aesthetic, and new windows enhanced the home's energy efficiency and style.

Inside, the atrium was designed to house an Endless Pool Swimming Machine, a fully in-ground modular swimming spa. Natural cedar was used extensively throughout the atrium, from the vaulted ceiling to the pool deck. Even the 17-foot structural steel pole was tastefully faced with cedar, creating a cohesive space. Textured, non-slip concrete floors were chosen for the atrium area to ensure both safety and style. The existing exterior stone on the west side of the home was seamlessly integrated into the atrium interior, blending old and new.

With the homeowner's passion for plants in mind, continuous planter boxes were strategically added throughout the atrium, bringing nature indoors. The atrium also featured a simple yet stylish bathroom with a corner shower for added convenience.

In addition to the atrium, the project included an oversized double garage with polished concrete floors, a utility sink, steel cabinets with bamboo tops, strip LED lighting, and finished painted walls. This transformation seamlessly blended modern amenities and design with the home's original character, resulting in a truly exceptional living space that perfectly met the homeowners' vision.
